Dr Andrew Wine's patient Scott Henshall ,a professional soccer player for England returned to the game. This was not expected as he had severe bone and cartilage damage from a complete ankle dislocation sustained in a soccer game. Scott underwent surgery by Dr Wines who specialises in Ankle surgery. As expected, initially Scott had a very stiff and painful ankle [14 degrees dorsiflexion [bend] compared to his normal side that had 38 degrees.] Dr Wines was thrilled with the result.He commented: "Dee Why Physiotherapy did excellent deep tissue massage and joint mobilisations, in addition to the standard physiotherapy modalities."
